The mammography screening performance dataset includes information from a sample of BCSC mammograms performed in 2005-2017. Data are from 40-74 year old women undergoing a screening mammogram within 30 months after a prior screening mammogram. We excluded examinations among women with a personal history of breast cancer and examinations within 9 months of a prior mammogram or breast ultrasound.
This de-identified, aggregate dataset is based on 2,512,577 screening mammograms. The data are aggregated into 3071 rows (combinations of variable values) represented by at least one exam. Variables in the dataset are listed in the table.
