Using Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium (BCSC) data, the BCSC research team has developed the following tools for use by the public:
A validated interactive tool designed by the scientists of the BCSC to estimate a woman's six-year cumulative risk of developing advanced breast cancer based on annual (every year) mammography or biennial (every two years) mammography to guide decisions on screening frequency.
A validated interactive tool designed by the scientists of the BCSC to estimate a woman's five-year risk of developing invasive breast cancer to guide decisions on primary prevention.
A platform allowing the user to explore BCSC data from 1994-2009 with tables and graphs about women, mammograms and other breast imaging exams, and breast cancers. (Although the Data Explorer displays only older BCSC data, collection of new data is ongoing in the BCSC.)
